Big game fishing and leisure at Mauritius
The sea, an Island, 3 Cottages and 2 Boats for your stay !
Choose your dates, book your flight to Mauritius,
go on the plane, we take care of the rest !
We will take responsibility for you at the airport of Mauritius, welcome and transfer until Black River (1 hour), settling in the cottage, flowers, fruits, coffee, fruit juice, cakes, will be waiting for our hosts after the long flight (11 hours from Paris), which always tires a bit.
We’re also taking care of your way back, it’s the same! But, in harder…
On the sea side : Fishing or Fun, with two boats anchored in the bay of Black River, one of the most beautiful of Mauritius!
The first Loralus boat is a 45 feet beautiful unit entirely equipped for offshore fishing.
The second Loralus is a cabin speedboat of 24 feet enabling small-scale (small trolling, jigging, popper, lures, bait fishes) and water-based recreation (water-skiing, scuba-diving, sailings).
On the land side : Cottages and Services !
Three big independent and comfortable villas by the sea of which stewardship and welcome of our hosts are assured by efficiency, kindness and Arlette’s kind gesture.
The properties are located, one in Black River, our nice coastal village in the south western of Mauritius. The two other cottages are located in Flic en Flac, a small village which attracts tourists 10 minutes away from Black River.
The boats’ starting point is located in Black River, 100 meters away from the cottage, but if your wives would like to enjoy the magnificent beaches and the more festive atmosphere of Flic en Flac, we assure the transfer from Flic en Flac to the boats.
The properties are equipped with Internet, telephone, and Canal +. Cleaning ladies and a gardener carry out the daily upkeep of the cottages, gardens and private swimming pools.
The big game fish offshore Mauritius !
Under the leadership of Captain CURTISS, 30 years at sea and notoriously known of the inveterate of the Big Game at Mauritius, the fishers will navigate on our 45 feet ketch perfectly well-kept equipped with all the electronics on board (GPS, depth finder…) and powered by 2 diesel motors FORD LEHMANN of 230 CI.
The boat is equipped with 1 fighting chair, the poles are PENN poles, 5 which are 50lbs, 2 which are 80lbs and 2 which are 130lbs. The reels are PENN INTERNATIONAL II heaved with nylon regularly replaced and perfectly well-kept…
The interesting fishes around Mauritius are yellowfin tuna, hammerhead sharks, (jumping!) shortfin mako sharks, bull sharks and silvertip sharks, indo-pacific sailfishes and swordfishes, and for the lucky ones, Atlantic blue marlins and black marlins.
Small scales, sailings, water-skiing and scuba-diving at Mauritius
With the Loralus II, a 24 feet boat powered by 2 EVINRUDE motors of 115 CI, we will take you to go jigging on wrecks, hanging out along reefs (with bait fishes, lures, fishing lures, poppers) in the seek of giant trevallies, yellowfin tunas, sea breams, cossacks, wahoos…
The craft is ideal to take a walk, having a picnic, to go bathing, to dive on surrounding creeks and reefs or to try your hand to water-skiing.
On demand, we will as well be able to organize you walks on the dry land, on the discovery of Mauritius, of its burgs and of their markets town.
Certain change of scene, Mauritius can’t let anybody indifferent !
